What's Inside?
-
Luxury homes and gardens
Tasmanian life magazine offers readers a personal visit into Tasmania's unique public and private homes. We photograph and bring to life the inspirational features on Tasmania's beautiful gardens, architecture and interior design. We also offer readers an insight into the inspiration and lifestyles of the people who own and care for these homes. Look out for our next edition, the Design Issue, which features the home of former Violent Femmes Bass Guitarist, Brian Ritchie.

Food and wine
Tasmanian life magazine has a strong food and wine focus. The state is renowned for its wonderful food, produce and fertile soils. Tasmanian life endeavours to represent all that is local and unique where our appetites are concerned. From black truffles, raw milk cheese, saffron and home-grown wasabi to leatherwood honey, boutique cider, and cold-climate wines, it's all there in our edition collection. Each issue also contains restaurant reviews and seasonal recipes.

The arts
Tasmania has a vibrant and unique arts scene. From the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra to TasDance, the diversity of performers in the state is remarkable. Tasmanian life publishes profiles and reviews of established artists, as well as those who are up and coming. Artist profiles featured recently include Portia Geach Memorial Award winner, Kit Hiller, and painter/naturalist, Lorraine Biggs. Next edition features Tasmania's most promising young designers.

People and places
Tasmania has a beautiful and historic collection of villages and towns inhabited by diverse, interesting people. Tasmanian life takes you to the sort of places you might have visited once and always wanted to return. Our team also love to explore more remote, rugged locations. This issue we journey to Ben Lomond, Tasmania's only proper ski-field, before embarking on a search for the perfect storm to snap pics of some of the world's biggest waves.
