Pierre’s
With two Australian Good Food Guide ‘Chefs Hats’ under its belt (2011 & 2012), Pierre’s is proud to be identified not just as iconic, but also as a food and wine flagship destination in Tasmania.
‘ Good things never change – after half a century of baristing and being the Home of Tasmania’s First Espresso Machine, Pierre’s still makes seriously fine coffee.’
Pierre’s has wined and dined locals and travellers for more than fifty years. With a recent multi-million dollar makeover, Pierre’s is much more than the little coffee shop and eating house it once was. It now offers modern European dining at affordable pricing with five-star comfort.
The menu changes seasonally. It is prepared daily by a passionate kitchen team using fresh and local produce. Adding excellent friendly service and a wine list with local emphasis, results in a world-class standard that Tasmanians are proud of, and visitors are talking about.
The new Courtyard Room and Bar is elegant in style. This hidden treasure is attracting functions of all sorts, catering for sit-down dinners for 30 – 40, or stand-up cocktail parties for 100.
Pierre’s is rejuvenated and ready to entertain its clientele for another half century. Great things should never change – being the home of the first espresso machine in Tasmania, Pierre’s still makes seriously fine coffee!
